Note: You are only paying the flat fee to get the property listed in your MLS. The broker will be licensed in your state, and will place it in your area's MLS, but may not be actually located in your county. Unless required in your state, no home visit is done. The local broker will contact you after you place your order, and will provide you with the necessary paperwork. Once you fill it out you will fax, email or mail it to the broker. In addition to the fee to list, you must offer a commission if the buyer uses an agent, often 2-3%*. Talk with your local broker about what is common in the area, plus any supplies you may need. You will be contacted within 1-2 business days by the listing broker after you order, and in many cases it will be the same day.
